The FAA's Wildlife Strike Database contains reported bird strikes and wildlife strikes since 1990. You can submit strikes electronically through their website, query the wildlife strike database, or download the entire bird strike database. Mission

The Center for Wildlife and Aviation engages the resources of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Prescott with other institutions including the Federal Aviation Administration, United States Department of Agriculture-Wildlife Services, Department of Defense-Air Force and Navy, Bird Strike International committee, and other concerned entities for the purposes of
  • Collecting, maintaining, and disseminating relevant bird strike data and bird strike research
  • Advertising wildlife mitigation training programs, management policies, and operational plans
  • Bridging the gap between the scientific community and stakeholders, including the general public, through effective communication, i.e. (press releases, public forums, how-to handbooks, web site, newsletters )
  • Certifying Qualified Wildlife Biologists and making the list of Qualified Wildlife Biologists available on this website
